Eilidh McCall-Lawrie from Scottish Swimming recently visited the club to present it with poloMark.

poloMark presentation

On receiving the award Murray said "Its great to be the first club in Scotland to have achieved polomark and swimark.  This is testament to the hard work that has been undertaken by the all of the club over the last 12 to 18 months.  It is especially pleasing to think of the work that has been done in liaison with schools in encouraging more youngsters into the sport, and I would like to congratulate the coaching staff in making this happen.  I would also like to say a big well done to the players who competed for both Scotland and GB, some of them being fairly new to the sport, I hope this will be a encouragement to any others newcomers tot he sport.

Finally a big well done to the swimming coaches who have worked with the polo coaches to ensure both sides of the club work together.  The club is looking forward to everything that will happen in the next year especially the move to the new Olympia pool and we hope to work together with our partners in the council, scottish swimming and the local community to gain further achievements."
