Learn to Swim

What does the Club offer for children wanting to learn to swim?

This is where your child’s swimming journey begins!

Our Learn to Swim (LTS) programme is designed for children approaching school age.

It offers a fun and supportive environment where they will:

Build water confidence

Develop core aquatic skills

Begin to learn to swim in a structured, group setting

Sessions are led by qualified coaches, supported by poolside helpers, and supervised by a certified lifeguard.

We provide a safe and engaging experience for every child.

By the end of our Saturday LTS programme, your child will:

Be confident and safe in the water

Be ready to swim lengths in a 25m pool

Transition smoothly into our LTS Advanced (Rookie) sessions

We also welcome children with experience in other Learn to Swim or Early Years aquatic programmes.

Our programme follows the National Framework for Swimming in Scotland, developed by Scottish Swimming.
